Georgia Vale, accompanist
Georgia Vale began her early musical studies at the Royal Northern College of Music & then Wells Cathedral School, followed by a performers’ course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Though violin and viola are her primary instruments she is a good enough pianist to have been offered a joint-1st study course at GSMD, and was fortunate to study the piano with John York. After leaving college, Georgia took further studies abroad at the Utrecht School of the Arts.
Georgia has performed extensively both as a violinist and pianist, in the UK and abroad, taken part in many recordings, e.g. with the Dutch Radio Chamber Orchestra, and reached the finals of several national competitions, including the Royal Overseas League. She now teaches and performs locally on piano & violin, is a sought-after accompanist, and is the author of the Hey Presto! violin series. In addition, Georgia is director of Chaddesley Strings and Chaddesley Junior Strings, who perform regularly at concerts and the Worcester competitive music festival.
